A letter to the Church from Pastor Gary - September 29, 2011
Global Harvest Church is located in Byron, Illinois, along the scenic Rock River. Pastors Gary and Valarie Cortese are cultivating and maintaining an environment for the growth of today’s Christian. Jesus Christ, the hope of glory, lives in the Believer, and He has given us the power to become sons of God (John 1:12). Through our faith in Christ we are now children of God who have been made in the likeness and image of Christ. Signs, Wonders and Miracles follow Christians; Christians don’t have to follow after signs.
Global Harvest Church is, first and foremost, a church you and your family can call home. A place where you are safe and loved. A place where you are valued and respected. A place where you can discover your gifts and find your potential. A place where you matter. A place where you come as you are but won't leave as you came.
Together we make this a place where man meets God (2 Cor. 4:7; Gal. 2:20; Col. 1:27) and Believers become family (Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor. 5:17).
Together we are redefining Christianity by equipping Believers to demonstrate the gospel because of who they are In Christ today according to Ephesians 2:10.
Together we bring change to the Body of Christ (Eph. 1:16-23)which translates into a new demonstration of God’s love and grace for the world!
